Hair question of the week
Question. What is the difference between permanent and semipermanent haircolor?
Answer. With a permanent color you must use peroxide with which you can lighten or darken your natural haircolor permanently, leaving visible roots when hair grows out. A permanent hair color can only be removed by frequent haircuts until all color is cut off. Permanent colors covers the white hair 100%.
Semi-permanent colors contain no peroxide so the hair does not damage. It lasts 4-6 shampoos. With semi-permanent colors you cannot lighten your natural hair, only slightly darken it temporarily. It will gradually wash off, not leaving any visible roots or color on the hair, when hair grows out. Semi-permanent colors do not cover white hair.
Question.
